The book was commissioned by the educational CENTRO EXMÉ, which operates in the hard social context of the neighborhood of Santa Teresa, a small municipality near the city of Cagliari (IT). My task was to work with a vast archive of images and, through skillful photo retouching, make all the work done in addition to the wall paintings more visible. This book vividly portrays the transformation of the streets into a living representation of the community. The visual narrative captures the essence of a social initiative that transcends art, highlighting the significant contribution of artists in shaping the social reality of the neighborhood and providing tangible evidence of the transformative power of art in the community context.
