Transumanza is an artistic collective that promotes art research in the hinterland of Sardinia through the organization of a contemporary art festival called Nostos, accompanied by a presentation and an editorial publication. For the second edition of Nostos in 2020, held in the small mountain town of Santu Lussurgiu (IT), I designed a hybrid publication, combining elements of a catalog and a fanzine. The book was created to document the artists' works during their residency and to delve into Transumanza’s activities. The editorial project is divided into three sections, each with its unique layout. The volume opens and closes with an analog photo studio capturing the essence of the territory. The back and cover feature illustrations of horse-shaped toys used in exhibition communication.
