ACQUE MADRI is an editorial project that speaks about Molentargius territory, a wetland in the city of Cagliari that was used for salt extraction until the 1980s and is currently the site of an important regional natural park. Through the use of photographic device and archival documents from various sources, the project aims to establish an image archive to depict the intricate relationship between the Molentargius landscape and human activity. The volume is divided into four sections: the first two mainly focus on the history of the Salines de Molentargius, the third consists exclusively of photographs, and the fourth contains in-depth elements such as articles, maps, and a small guide to the park.
